Barrie Ingham

Barrie Stanton Ingham was an English actor, performing on stage and in a handful of films. He was perhaps most widely known as a prolific television actor and as the voice of The Great Mouse Detective.

Ingham was born in 1932 in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire to Irene and Harold Ellis Stead Ingham. He was educated at Heath Grammar School and became a Royal Artillery officer.
